May 1: Decrease in Restrictions for Outdoor Operations

Manufacturing, construction and distribution operations may restart with as few employees as necessary to permit full operations if they can meet all health and safety requirements.

April 27: Loosening Restrictions for Outdoor Operations

Effective April 27, outdoor businesses may operate with a maximum of five total workers per location. Personal distancing recommendations still apply.

April 20: Work Safe Additions to Governor's Stay Home, Stay Safe Order

Effective April 20, those who work exclusively outdoors may resume operations with a maximum of two total workers per location/job. The Agency of Commerce and Community Development has provided other details as well.

April 17: Governor Outlines Principles for Phased Restart of Vermont Economy

On April 17, Governor Phil Scott outlined an approach for the phased restart of Vermont’s economy, emphasizing the state’s modeling indicates initial steps can be taken while the Stay Home, Stay Safe order remains in effect.

License Renewal Period Extended

Given the current crisis, the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation is offering the opportunity to extend the renewal period for all licenses for 180 days (through March 30, 2021). Read the policy to learn more.
