Afternoon Presentations
History of the Burlington and Lamoille Railroad

Presenter: Jerry Fox, Vermont Historian

Local historian and railroad authority Jerry Fox will present information on the history of the Burlington and Lamoille Railroad. Jerry will discuss the origin of the railroad, the locations of the track and depots, and hurdles encountered with its construction and use. He will also cover the railroad's demise and the reasons behind the demise, and share information on the location of historical maps and pictures of the railroad.

Overview of the Spatial Data Hub

Presenter: Dan Jarvis, GIS Professional, Vermont Agency of Transportation

Dan will provide an overview of the Vermont Right of Way Spatial Data Hub and explain its applications for the work of land surveyors.
