VSLS Scholarship Award
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?
Vermont residents, who have resided in Vermont for a minimum of two years and graduated from a Vermont High School, and, who are in their final year and about to graduate from an educational institution offering an accredited land or geodetic surveying program granting a degree or certificate. The applicant must have success-fully completed the minimum academic credits necessary for eligibility to take the Vermont Land Surveyor Examination under 26 V.S.A. Sec. 2592(a)(2) or (3) and Rules Of the Vermont Board of Land Surveyors, Part 2.3 or 2.4. (See Instructions)
HOW MUCH ARE THE AWARDS?
$2,000.00 minimum
HOW ARE THEY AWARDED?
Selection is made by the Board of Directors of the VSLS Education Foundation. Selection is based on academic performances, financial obligations (debt should be equal to or greater than above listed scholarship award), and potential for future contribution to the land surveying profession. Payment will be made by check payable to the recipient and the school, appropriate lending institution or organization that the recipient is indebted to for his/her education.

Upon or after graduation.
